Melwood Charity Car Donation Center operates as a division of Melwood.  Since 1963, Melwood, a non profit organization, has provided employment opportunities, supports and recreation to thousands of individuals with disabilities.  For over 12 years, Melwood has operated one of the most successful car donation programs on the East Coast, processing over 150,000 vehicle donations.  In 2001, we partnered with a disability organization in Norfolk, Virginia to manage their newly established car donation program.  A few years later, we did the same for a disability organization in Atlanta, Georgia.  Today, we have expanded that effort to The Arc of the United States and it’s over 850 chapters across the United States, United Cerebral Palsy and it’s over 100 affiliates, Meals on Wheels Association of American and its countless programs, and lastly National AMBUCS with over 130 chapters.  We continue to grow and can offer our car donation management services to any charity, no matter how large or small.
